Alchemy of Nine Dimensions
Even though I was already incorporating multi-dimensionality somewhat into the spiritual workshops I offered, and I had read several of Barbara’s earlier books, reading Alchemy and understanding the information and elegant theory of multidimensionality that she shared in this book blew me away. It became the foundational theory for my last two books, Activating Your 5D Frequency and The 6D Ascension Journey as well as for all my current teachings.When a young UCLA anthropology student researching the peyote cults of the southwest Indians finds a teacher of initiation, Don Juan, he transforms his life with the key that goes beyond drugs and finds the spiritual truth that we are not matter we are energy beings.
Autobiography of a Yogi
While getting my graduate degree in social work in the mid-1970’s, a friend of mine in the same program handed me this book. I was in my mid-20’s at the time, and while already interested in astrology and similar subjects, I had defined myself as an atheist since I was twelve and had no use for the concept of God. I began reading a few pages of this book each day before doing yoga, and little by little my entire consciousness opened. As Yogandanda talked about all the mystical experiences in his life I began to have them myself where I experienced “God,” as well as a state of grace and an awareness of the true worlds behind our world. This was the spiritual awakening that shifted my life. I understood synchronicity and the perfection of the Universe and I continue to feel guided by this Divine Force to this day.
Bringers of the Dawn
Since I was in high school in the early 1960’s and developed an interest in the social justice movements of the times, I embraced the idea that we could and need to change the world. Reading Bringers of the Dawn in which Marciniak transmits messages from the Pleiadeans to help us survive and evolve, confirmed to me that there were millions of us around the globe that had arrived here on a soul mission to do just that, but at a much higher vibration than my high school mind would have fathomed. And it introduced me to the awareness that there were advanced star civilizations to model this for us, the awareness of which is at the core of my teachings and has helped me unlock my personal ancestral identity.
Living in the Light
Gawain does a wonderful job sharing her wisdom, views and process of spiritual awakening to activate this in her readers. What stayed with me most was her analysis and deep understanding of what a healthy relationship between one’s inner male and inner female is. Seeing how it is the feminine or yin side that through intuition and inner connection is the visionary for planetary shifts as well as for personal life shifts, and it is the inner male that creates the protection and the energy to move the visions out into the world, gave me a template to work with my inner male to gain the inner support I needed to do this.
Sacred Contracts
It took me quite a while to move through fears and blocks that I had from other lifetime traumas for teaching wisdom that was considered heresy. Sacred Contracts and the exercises within it helped me move forward to more fully own my soul contracts for this lifetime and to activate enough courage to carry them out.
A New Earth
This now classic supported my vision of planetary awakening and healing and reached huge numbers of people which I find very exciting. Tolle outlined a process of stepping into higher consciousness that was accessible without sacrificing depth and wisdom. Because of this book, we can now use the term “New Earth” and collectively invoke an image of a loving, harmonious, spiritually awakened planet which brings us ever closer to creating this.
Destiny of Souls
Newton, a psychologist who used hypnosis to regress people back to early childhood as part of their healing journey, found that he began to inadvertently regress them to the realms their soul resided in before their birth. Prior to this, he had no belief in an afterlife or life between lives. He became so fascinated with the information he was exposed to, that he limited his practice to people wanting to access this and took copious notes where he was able to uncover multiple similarities in his clients’experiences. In this book he not only shares this but provides the reader with a kind of map of these realms which includes how parts of our souls could be operating there while incarnated in our present body. This expanded my awareness of who we really are, and I understood more of our multidimensional nature.
The Secrets of Shambala
This was the third and less-read book in James Redfield’s series that began with The Celestine Prophesies. It was the culmination of the spiritual journey depicted in the book that stayed with me over the last several decades and the reason that I’ve added it to this list. When the journeyers arrive at Shambala, Redfield presents a description and various images of a highly evolved spiritual society. His Shambala describes what I would now call a world filled with humans operating at their 5th and 6th dimensional frequency, who live in a society that mirrors that of advanced star civilizations. I believe it is images like these that help us in our current evolutionary process because they hold the vision of a world of a New Earth, giving us a focus that helps us create this.
The Tao of Physics
I was so excited when I found and studied this book in the 1970’s because it exposed me to quantum physics and the scientific explanation for the basis of the intuitive experiences I was having back then on my spiritual quest. Writing this paragraph now, I randomly flipped open this heavily underlined book that is still on my bookshelf, and saw in the margin of the page it opened to that I’ve written “our psyches determine reality” which is really the central idea of my newest book written almost 5 decades later, to help us understand and learn to utilize our 6th dimensional creative abilities consciously.
Astrology, Karma and Transformation
While I have studied many astrology books over the year, this particular one was no doubt the most transformative. I began to understand that our birth chart holds both our soul’s curriculum for this lifetime as well as information on the agreements and missions we have taken on. It deepened my understanding of my own chart as well as the gift that astrology holds when individually interpreted for all of us.
