Jeanne White Eagle Pehrson
JEANNE WHITE EAGLE PEHRSON is President and Co-Founder of the Interstellar Community Foundation, Inc. A visionary, educator, author, and speaker, she has circled the globe with her husband John Pehrson for more than 25 years, working as ambassadors for world peace. They began this mission by bringing their considerable conflict resolution skills to communities on nearly every continent, often in areas with deep political and social unrest, to help people from diverse cultures communicate in more caring and authentic ways. Jeanne’s current passion involves manifesting a vision she received in a recurring dream that began when she was a teenager about the potential for humans to evolve into a higher state of consciousness. In the dream, Jeanne saw that this would not only play a key role in the survival of the planet but that it would also allow for healthy and open interaction with other life forms, both on and beyond Earth. Jeanne’s 2014 book, Eyes Open, Looking for the Twelve – Blueprint for a New World, describes her vision in detail.
Along with the late NASA Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Jeanne and her husband co-founded the Interstellar Community Foundation (ICF) to bring Jeanne’s vision to fruition. Jeanne now works closely with likeminded scientists and mystics worldwide, sharing her powerful vision of the Interstellar Universities (ISUs) and surrounding Communities (Universe Cities). Prior to their work with ICF, Jeanne, following her love for children and teens, cofounded the Up On the Mountain organization to help teens at risk.
Jeanne is a member of Evolutionary Leaders, a worldwide network of individuals who are committed to “collectively inspire, support and serve conscious evolution.”

Being & Vibration
A wonderful story around this book involves a mystical experience that includes a trip to Russia where a message across the ethers came through a friend to say “the ancestors were looking for me.” It was on my return home that this book, gifted to me 8 months earlier, literally jumped out onto my bed and I heard the same message again, the one that came in Russia, that my ancestors were looking for me. When this happened, I immediately began reading the book and upon the 2nd day of reading an old friend called me out of the blue to tell me that I was to begin my work in Sound (the subject of this book). She also said the author of this book, aka Beautiful Painted Arrow, was coming to Tennessee and that I was to meet him. A few days later, he and I met and his words were, “I put the call out there. I knew you were coming.” The experience in Russia and now this brought all full circle. Joseph’s book is a continual inspiration reminding me of who I am and why I came here.
Autobiography of a Yogi
I don’t remember when this book came into my life because it seems it has always been there. I choose this one because it continues to guide and inspire me, reminding me of what I know but at times forget. Steve Jobs, who created Apple, had one of these books gifted to each person who showed up for his memorial service because it made such an impact on his life. The book itself is full of highly inspirational first-hand experiences as well as being packed with scientific and historical knowledge. When I need guidance, often I will simply open to a place in the book at random and there is the exact wisdom that I seek. Powerful book!! Powerful soul in Yogananda!!
Jonathan Livingston Seagull
This is another one of these books that seems like it has been with me forever. The character of Jonathan himself showed up for me when, in my early 30s, at a Neil Diamond concert, at a time when my soul was restless to find the next steps in my purpose for being here, I heard Neil’s music of Jonathan Livingston Seagull. And it was that very night that I began writing in my first of many journals to follow, starting on the first page with “Dear Jonathan…” I had read this book in my early years and then reread Bach’s book several times in the following years (including recently) realizing, knowing the life’s lessons he so creatively portrays in this magnificent story were not only guiding me then but continue to inspire and guide me now. It feels at times that the spirit of Jonathan himself lives in me and shows me who I am and why I’m here.
Illusions
This is another one of Richard Bach’s books that stays very much alive for me. The lessons Bach so beautifully spells out in this book, revealing the divine potential that lies within each of us, act as a beacon of light and have helped me to stay centered and to “keep on keeping on” no matter how challenging life’s circumstances may be. I often will simply open to a page randomly to see what wisdom the Universe might have to give me on a particular day. Always, always the very thought I need to hear at any particular moment will jump out from the page. Bach’s Illusions is a powerful reminder of the wonder that lies in our everyday perceptions of reality.
Global Mind Change
I read this book in my late 30s, at a time when I was hungry to connect with others who were able to think on a scale that encompassed all life on our beloved planet and beyond. That is when Willis’s book fell into my hands. I was deeply touched by his saying “If you don’t like the way the world is, change your mind.” That thought alone led me to seek out this amazing man. It turned out to be the beginning of a dear and close friendship with a soul with whom I could explore unconventional ideas and potential possibilities of what might be necessary for the collective consciousness here and beyond our own Universe to evolve into a higher state of being. Wonderful and rich conversations were had in the following years… stimulated from having read Willis’ Global Mind Change.
As a Man Thinketh
This little book caught me off guard! It was a gift from a friend at a time when I was going through some serious challenges and had struggled at times to keep my balance. Even now, when I open this book, I am nourished to the core by the wisdom that flows from its pages. This book made such an impact on me that throughout the years I have gifted it to people of all ages, including teenagers. The wisdom within is timeless and filled with insights that I have no doubt will continue to inspire me and support me on the remainder of my life’s journey. I strongly recommend that if whoever reads these comments has not read this beautiful little book that you do so. You won’t be disappointed.
The Quiet Mind, Sayings of White Eagle
Many years ago, I was blessed with the name of Jeanne White Eagle by a Native American mystic, Joseph Rael, who had seen me in a vision. The name itself demanded that I walk with integrity and love at all times, which I have attempted to do. Along this journey, people have shared their insights of who they believe White Eagle to be which includes the beautiful wisdom that is shared in the book The Quite Mind, said to be sayings of the ancient spirit and teachings of White Eagle. I keep a copy of this handy and visible at all times so that even when I look at the title I’m reminded of the power and beauty of this Being and the profound teachings that daily inspire me.
Sound
This book contains the great beauty and wisdom that flows through Joseph Rael (Beautiful Painted Arrow), a humble and brilliant Native American mystic who as a child was highly aware of the mysteries of our Universe. He found a way to share these deeper truths through his art and through his writings that have found their way into all of his books. This particular book delves into his teachings on Sound that with poetic clarity show how everything we perceive to exist IS sound. Everything. Joseph’s ability to explain this concept in a way that even if the thinking mind does not immediately grasp the truth of what he is saying, the intuitive self within each of us understands. One cannot help but marvel at the beauty and manner with which such depth can be conveyed.
A Course in Miracles
This book came into my life around my mid-twenties. I don’t remember whether it was a gift or one of those books that stood up in a book store and shouted, “Hey Jeanne, over here. I’m who you’re looking for!” However it came into my life, it ended up being exactly what was needed at the time and continues to be a source of inspiration. The truths that are revealed in its pages are powerful and profound. The basic teaching that I have received from this book is that Love is in charge and that living from this perspective creates circumstances that allow for “miracles” to occur in one’s life as part of the natural order of a loving Universe… A teaching that helps me to be reminded of from time to time.
World Peace and Other 4th Grade Achievements
I remember hearing an interview on the radio with a 4th grade teacher, John Hunter who was sharing a remarkable story. The subject of his story immediately caught my attention. Here was an elementary school teacher talking about a game that his 4th grade students had created, a game to solve the problems of the world. This included problems like hunger and poverty. John was so moved by what his students had created that he wrote this amazing book to get their findings out to a larger audience. Not only was his book a great success with the general public, he found himself in front of generals at the Pentagon who brought him in to present his findings to a hard-core audience who for more than ten years had been working on the same problems the children had addressed. The generals were puzzled as to how workable solutions could be found and revealed in such an extraordinary way as a game. Here is where John shared with them that what the children had done was look at all the individual problems as part of a whole and created a game where this perspective is what guided them. Thus, from the mouths, hearts and minds of these young children came solutions and surpassed the experience of even the wisest among the generals and so many of us. A powerful and inspiring story that reminds us that we are not separate but connected at the deepest levels. Together we are whole. One.
